Doll Quilt Swap Update #4May 22, 2007 at 9:53 am | Posted in Doll Quilt Swap | 4 Comments
What news, quilt swappers! Lots of doll quilt goings-on since I last updated:
- Angela received Sarah G.’s American flying geese quilt.
- Maggi received a channel quilted design in Mardi Gras colors, which she chose from the three (!) made by
Mary Jane, who received a cool zipper-like red-and-white design from
Lauri, who received the I-can’t-believe-it’s-her-first-quilt from
Mama Urchin, who received two (!): a nine-patch and a kitty charm quilt from
Amy, who received the sweet red-and-natural coin quilt from
Maitreya, who got my strawberry-rhubarb πr2 quilt.
And as if THAT weren’t enough of a chain…
- Bonnie received her 40s repro quilt from
Laura, who received a patchwork in cool colors from
Solidia, who received the birdcage quilt from Sarah D.
- Maritza got the appliquéd squares quilt from
Susan S., who received a quilt in lush florals from
Sarah L., who received a zakka-inspired quilt from Francie.
Got it? My head is spinning from all the connections, and I was the one who paired everyone up! I’ll post one more roundup when Michelle, Kristy, Liz B., Francie, Monica, and I receive our quilts. Please let me know when you’ve gotten ‘em!
One more note: our own Calamity Kim has started a flickr group called Doll Quilt CrAzY, where you can view and post more photos of doll quilts.
About a week ’til the next Doll Quilt Swap II begins! I’ll announce it here.
