Whiplash

Many of you are probably familiar with the collaborative website whipup.net, which counts among its many contributors many of the luminaries and up-and-comers of the online craft community. Their Whiplash challenge is a periodic (usually monthly) call to interpret a theme in craft and share the results, quick like a bunny rabbit. This month, the theme was left up to the readers, and what do you know? The vote was overwhelmingly for miniature quilts! One of the links they provided for inspiration was to our flickr photo pool, which delighted me to no end.

So if you’d like to flex those mini-quilting muscles and just can’t wait for the next doll quilt swap, feel free to scratch that itch by posting a project or tutorial and linking back to whiplash. Usually there are prizes, but I think there aren’t any this round. Should be fun anyway! You can enter until the end of the month.
